Our sweeps are trained in the latest industry developments, and have training through the HETAS scheme and NVQ qualifications.
We pride ourselves in ensuring that our work is undertaken to a high standard, and ensuring that each job fireplace is left clean and tidy.

Chimney Sweeping
Our team of chimney sweeps are trained specialists in power sweeping. Developed in the USA and Germany, this is the most advanced method of sweeping flues. It is clean and effective, removing considerably more soot and tar than other cleaning methods.
Chimney Inspections
Our team of chimney sweeps carry out inspections on chimneys throughout Scotland, using the most up to date equipment. We utilise various CCTV cameras from small wireless cameras to larger pan and tilt cameras that enable us to inspect all elements of the chimney, both internally and externally.
Commercial Chimney Maintenance
Firework provide a range of sweeping and inspection services to chimneys of all sizes. With our 4 chimney sweeps located throughout Scotland, we are able to take on smaller jobs independently, or larger commercial projects on a collaborative basis.

Chimney Cowls and Birds Nest Removal
Chimney cowls are generally fitted to prevent birds and other pests coming down or nesting in your chimney, reducing the risk of rain water entering the flue and to stop smoke blowing back down the chimney. We carry a large selection of cowls in stock and can advise on what may be the best course of action to tackle any chimney problems you may be encountering.
Tar and Creosote Removal
Using a specialist creosote modifier, we are able to reduce the amount of tar and creosote that can build up in a chimney over time.
